Disposal
The predominant cost and correspondingly major liability in a waste management system is the actual physical disposal of the waste materials themselves. Barring a recycling option, waste materials have limited options for disposal and careful consideration of those options is paramount to an effective waste management program.

Waste materials are often identified by certain characteristics they exhibit such as; being toxic, corrosive, explosive, flammable or reactive. These materials take many forms and include “off spec” products and raw materials, laboratory chemicals, batteries, used oil, paints, solvents and countless other solids and liquids. At Photech we offer a series of handling and disposal solutions that are specifically designed to fit our client’s unique needs.

An on-site assessment will determine:
  • Hazardous characteristics of waste materials
  • Proper methods for packaging and storing waste materials
  • Appropriate disposal solutions, targeted to your specific needs
  • Waste safety precautions for your facility
