Basic Spill Response in accordance to NFPA

Responding to Dangerous Goods incidents can be one of the most exciting and demanding jobs. Whether you’re drilling a hole in the side of an overturned tank car in the middle of the highway or donning a full Level A chemical suit and responding to an Anthrax threat, response work can be very rewarding.

This course is designed for individuals responding to hazardous material incidents as a first responder. Upon completion of this course individuals will have the ability to recognize the presence of hazardous materials, the ability to protect themselves and the ability to call on trained personnel and secure the site. This course is in accordance with the NFPA guidelines for an Awareness Level Responder
